Joy – Is this real?
It wasn’t until this last year that I as able to completely understand what JOY is. Growing up, my family is Buddhist, so there wasn’t much joy to begin with instead stressed and worried was passed down from generation to generation.
When I asked Jesus into my heart I wasn’t able to fully comprehend joy still. You see, I am a natural worrier, it was given to me, it was sowed into me.
Last year was the year I totally got to know who God was. I am talking about His love, mercy, grace, and joy. It was when I had rely on him in my darkest moments. I am so glad I did, if not for those moments, I wouldn’t have the overflowing joy, love, mercy, and grace. I am now able to extend it to many of my friends so graciously! They absolutely love it! Yes, JOY is for real!!
Ministry- Give to others what God’s given to you.
What about it? Well, as a stay home mother I am able to use the overflowing joy and love that comes from God and extend it to my friends. I use it to edify, encourage, and motivate them (especially working mothers). During the week, I usually stop by their homes and give gifts with a homemade card. Takes very little effort, but the reward is priceless.
See, when you sow love and joy into others, you will also reap it and I mean spiritually.
No man can give you what God can give supernaturally.
Sure you can receive love from friends and loved one, but they can’t always be there for you, hold you, comfort you, or love on you, 24/7. What they do is temporary and will only last a few minutes, hours, or maybe a few days.
What our heavenly father gives to us last for as long as we ask for it, seek it, and want it, not only that, but it’s overflowing…So much that we’d want to share it with everyone with know! It’s joy that’s unspeakable.
