When you think about His grace what comes to mind? His love for you or guilt because of sin?
Are you sin conscious, you try so hard to please Him or get His approval? Do you desire to obey Him with every ounce of your being only to realize how much you’ve failed or stumbled?
Accepting His love and grace frees you. As you start to draw closer to God because of His love it’ll strengthen you and give you the courage to live with integrity not because of the law but because it is His love for us that made Him send His only Son to die for us and that the shed blood of Jesus covers all of our iniquities, making us white as snow! Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD.”Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.” -Isaiah 1:18
In 1Peter 1:2 it says “God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and His Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. May God give you more and more grace and peace.”
He knew you and chose you before the foundations of this world! His Spirit has made you HOLY. What exactly does this mean? Jesus came that we may be made righteous in the eyes of the Lord. Not because of our doing but because of HIS doing. If we wholeheartedly believe that we are made holy, it’ll shift our thinking. “I was made holy, a royal priesthood, and because of God’s love and mercies, so therefore my desire is to live in full obedience to Him.
Next sentence says, may God give you more and more grace and peace. No matter our fault or sinful nature, His grace will cover all of it so that He may get the glory. It is that in your weakness His grace abounds!
Out of the overflow of His magnificent LOVE comes obedience, joy, self control, humility, peace, and all the fruit of the spirit!
Relax in His presence, embrace in His loving arms and accept it as because you’ve already been forgiven. His shed blood and God’s grace that is greater than all our sins, we can live a life in the freedom that He longs for us. Don’t focus on yourself, turn your focus to God.
Right believing produces right living.

Wow. Well said, I was listening to a youtube video of Joseph Prince in the background while I was also reading this. I got to the bottom and read that quote. About 20 seconds after I read it I heard Joseph say it
in the video and freaked haha . He is a great preacher. Thank you for your words Janice. Keep it up!
