Promises of God -

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted among the earth! -Psalm 46:10 ESV

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. -Psalm 37:5 ESV

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. -Phil. 4:6 ESV

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. -1Peter 4:7

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? -Matthew 6:25-27 ESV

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. -Proverbs 3:5-6

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. -Matthew 6:34

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. -Galatians 6:9

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. -John 14:1

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. -Romans 15:13

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. -Psalm 55:22

I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. -Psalm 37:25

I fear not [there is nothing to fear], for God is with me. I do not look around in terror and be dismayed, for He is my God. He will strengthen and harden me to difficulties, yes, God will help me: yes, He will hold me up and retain me with His [victorious] right hand of righteousness and justice. -Isaiah 41:10

A wise woman, Corrie Ten Boom once said, “Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength, carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength and peace.”

I have another post on Worry here.
