Money says: Earn me and forget everything.
Time says: Follow me and forget everything.
Once again I’ll refer to the bible, scripture tells us: Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these THINGS shall be added unto you. Matthew 66:33
The Lord is with you when you are with Him. If you dedicate your lives to serving Him, He will accept you. But if you abandon Him, He will abandon you.2 Chronicles 15:2
Without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to God. For to come near to God I must necessarily believe that God exists and He is the rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
God is simply implying to us that we must seek Him not the things of this world. It’s common sense but we don’t do it too often. We worry then we also get into the habit of forgetting to pray about our problems. However, asking God for His help don’t necessarily mean that a miracle is going to fall into your lap. When we pray we wait on His timing, we build character in the process, we learn to lean on Him and seek Him even more. Let’s rely on His strength.
I do not seek by meditating and reasoning to inquire into what I’m to eat and what I’m to drink; nor is my mind anxious-troubled-unsettled-excited-worries and in suspense. I only aim at and strive for and see His kingdom and all these things shall be supplied to me also!
