Need Encouragement?

Feeling tired? Distraught? Stumbling? Lost? Need some encouragement? I came across some awesome scriptures while doing devotional this week.  I pray that these words will get into your spirit and edify you. You are loved, don’t ever forget that!

Stumbling? Here’s a great verse! —- I said to myself, “relax and rest. God has showered you with blessings. Soul, you’ve been rescued from death; Eye, you’ve been rescued from tears. And you, Foot, were kept from stumbling.” Psalm 116:7-8 MSG

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 2Cor 10:4 NKJV

When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! John 15:10, 11 NLT

Lost? No purpose? God’s will? Here are two verses.

Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; In You I take shelter. Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. Revive me, O Lord, for Your names sake! For Your righteousness sake bring my soul out of trouble. Psalm 143:8 NKJV

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. -Ephesians  1:17 NKJV

Want to live with integrity?

Don’t grieve God. Don’t break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don’t take such a gift for granted. Ephesians 4:30 MSG

Therefore, take the whole armor of God that you maybe able to withstand the evil day and having done all to stand. Ephesian 6:13 (Armor of God can be found in Ephesians 6:14)

Your word I have treasured in my heart that I may not sin against you. Psalm 119:11 (One of my favorite scripture scripture)

Longing for His love, presence, touch? Need Hope?

Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24

Upon the palms of my hands I have written your name. ♥ Isaiah 49:16

I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit, apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

God is my strength and power. He makes my way perfect. 2Samuel 22:23

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord. I wait for my God my Savior. My God will hear me. Micah 7:7

Your life in Christ makes you strong and His love comforts you. Phil 2:1
The commands of God are given, not to rob me of joy, but lead me into the fullness of joy. -Matt Chandler

Have a wonderful weekend, stay in the Word!

  3. Reading this has helped me remember that I can do all things through Christ. He will continue to bless my life and guide me. I have been struggling since I almost passed away in a car accident and have been in recovery for three months now.
    I survived.
    He saved me.
I want to show him how much His love means to me and give my life back to him. I strayed away for too long, caught up with people that do not believe in Him.
