He tends his flock like a Shepherd:

He gathers the lambs in His arms

and carries them close to His heart.

Isaiah 40:11

Did you know that we all crave to be loved? That’s why when someone hurts us so badly that “trust” is so hard to regain. We take it out on God thinking He doesn’t love us at all because we were hurt one too many times. However, only God can fill that void and strengthen us.

This verse clearly states that He makes sure we are taken care of! Not only that but He takes us into His very loving arms and holds us close to His heart.Imagine holding a new born baby. They are so fragile but you carry them and hold them close to you and you love on them. Now imagine God doing that with us. It’s amazing because His love never fails and His love sustains us. We are human beings, when we are faithless, He is still faithful.

Let God love on you. Let Him mend your broken heart. Give Him a chance to hold you in His arms and close to His heart and see what He’ll do. Will you let Him?
