God Almighty

 You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!”  That’s right-He rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you-under them you’re perfectly safe; His arms fend off all harm.

“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God, “I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me.  Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party. I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!”

Will you rest under God’s shadow? Will you say He is my REFUGE in times of trouble? I love that it says, “His arms fend off all harm!” Wow, if we rest under Him, He will preserve us! What better place than to be in the arms of our loving God? One who will protect us from all things. Sure, bad things happen, circumstances happen, things come up, but is it not better to in the storm with God than without Him? I don’t know about you but I’d much rather have Him in my storms even if that means I don’t hear from Him for awhile.
I know I can always glean on His promises, His Words and that alone is enough to sustain me. I don’t want to be anywhere without Him. I live and breathe for Him.
He is my El Shaddai – God Almighty.
