Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,
whenever you experience various trials
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
But endurance must do its compete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
If you lack wisdom, ask God who gives generously.
A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life.
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself
restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Thank God our trials are only temporary and the rewards are eternal. This compels me to seek God’s face first and not His hands because His promises breathes life into me. Oh how good He is to us!
