We often look at our failures and our sin, and feel like we’re not worthy enough. We fall into despair, anxiety, and depression. Now, we’re in this cycle of feeling unworthiness.
One thing God has taught me through the years is that He is always there and loves me regardless of my imperfections. I struggled many times with disappointments because I thought I clearly heard from Him, but I didn’t. Then He miraculously steps in, helps me and corrects me. Isn’t He faithful and good? It was my wrongdoing and yet He still remains faithful helping me all the way through. God is a good God!
I just wanted to tell you that God isn’t mad at you. He is not angry when you fail. He is not disappointed in you when you fall short. He knew what you were going to do before you did it! His love is never changing and unfailing whether we’ve done good or bad. His love is unconditional. May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. (Ephesians 3:18-19)
In fact, when we fail, He will say to you, “it’s okay. I’m here. I am gracious and merciful, abounding in love. Come and receive My love.” (Exodus 34:6)
When you’re struggling with your emotions, He will say, “the battle is mine. And the peace from Me, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds.” (Phil. 4:7)
When you don’t know what to do in the midst of situations, He will say, “Give me your burdens. I have granted you life. My care and love will preserve your spirit. (Job 10:12) Trust that answers are coming.”
I love you, dear friends. I don’t want you living this life feeling defeated and overwhelmed. I want you to be an overcomer. Someone who will lift their head up and say, “God is my refuge and strength; a very present help in times of trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
He is your shield and lifter of your head. Be consumed in His love and grace!
